Actor and social media personality Romaisa Khan has revealed that a former student once proposed to her, a gesture she found surprising and amusing.

Speaking on a private TV programme, Romaisa said that before joining the entertainment industry, she worked as a tutor to save money for an iPhone. At the time, she was 17 and teaching eighth-grade boys.

Romaisa recalled that one of her former students recently contacted her, expressing his desire to marry her and even planned to send his mother to her home with a formal proposal.

She said the message made her smile, as it reminded her of how small the age gap between them actually was. Romaisa said she dismissed the proposal in a light-hearted manner.

Romaisa Khan initially gained fame on TikTok, where her popularity led her to acting roles in television dramas.
