Rakul Preet Singh is riding high on the success of her latest film, De De Pyaar De 2, and in her recent Instagram post, the actor’s happiness is reflected on her face. Looking radiant and chic in a black two-piece ensemble, the actor effortlessly proved that black outfits will never go out of style.

According to reports by The Telegraph, the Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh-starrer comedy drama has been inching closer to the Rs 50-crore mark at the domestic box office. The Anshul Sharma-directed film, a sequel to 2019’s De De Pyaar De, has earned Rs 46.75 crore gross domestically in four days, as per industry data-tracking portal Sacnilk.

A breakdown of the all-black fit

Rakul wore a black corset in a glimmery net fabric that was embellished with rhinestones. The strapless top has a great structure that contours to her body and a scooped hemline that makes it appear like it is floating close to her body. The top by Studio Picante comes in a set with matching, shimmery wide-legged pants. This set, which looks perfect for the upcoming holiday season, costs Rs 48,000. For her jewellery, Rakul dressed up this two-piece set with what look like black pointed-toe boots. She left her hair in loose yet bouncy waves that were just the right amount of casual yet styled.

The actor, who is married to actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani, accessorised her look with a black beaded bracelet. She leaned into the glimmer of this look by adding some bejewelled hoop earrings and a silver bracelet slung on her wrist.

For the glam, the 35-year-old, who is best known for films like Mere Husband Ki Biwi, Thank God, and Cuttputlli, opted for a natural yet elevated look. Brown nude glossy lipstick adorned her lips, while a soft orange blush was diffused on her cheeks. Her usual thick eyebrows were perfectly polished, while she opted for a natural brown smoky look for her eyes.
