Mira Sorvino vows to keep her children grounded in Hollywood

Mira Sorvino has vowed to keep her kids grounded in image-obsessed Hollywood.

Speaking to Hamptons magazine, the 57-year-old actress revealed that her children will not be entitled to her Hollywood lifestyle because she knows that ‘they are growing up with a bit of a silver spoon.’

Mira tied the knot with Christopher Backus in 2004 and the two have four kids together – Mattea, Johnny, Holden, and Lucia.

“They are growing up with a bit of a silver spoon, just because of [our] lifestyles as actors, and I’m always trying to keep them grounded and teach them to be good people who are actively helping others,” said the Mimic actress.

When asked if her kids are keen to pursue a career in acting, she replied, “My son says that he wants to be a marine animal rescuer, which is very cute.”

“I can see myself in retirement assisting with dolphin rescues. They’re wonderful little people, and I love them with all my heart, so I look forward to seeing what they’re going to do,” added Mira.
