Camila Cabello reveals major concern about her hair health

Camila Cabello opened up about her major concern about her hair health after going blonde earlier this year.

In a recent chat with Dave Grutman on December 8, the 27-year-old singer looked back on her decision to go platinum.

“I did love being blonde in the beginning. In the beginning,” she recalled at the Tribeca Festival at Art Basel Miami Beach Live Conversation with Camila Cabello event at the Miami Beach Bandshell.

It is pertinent to mention that the Havana singer’s current hair is brunette locks, she went blonde earlier in 2024.

“But that s*** starts looking like rope real quick — like a horse is about to take a bite, like a salad. It starts drying,” Cabello confessed.

While sharing her bad experience, the Senorita singer expressed a wish that she had been warned earlier about the damaging impact of prolonged bleaching on naturally dark hair like hers.

“There’s a three-shade maximum, so you can either go three shades lighter or three shades darker, and that’s fine for your hair. Any more than that, you can’t do for more than a few months. It fries it,” she explained, noting, “It’s going to take a long time to rebuild my beautiful, beautiful hair.”

Moreover, Cabello revealed that when she went platinum, initially she had to keep it undercover which was a “painful” experience. However when inquired about her recent condition of hair which “looks great now” she responded, “It’s a lot of tricks! But, it was fun.”
