Katie Holmes and Nicole Kidman come forward to extend their support to Ana de Armas after her recent split from their ex-husband Tom Cruise.

Radar Online reported that both top-notch stars are not surprised by Armas rejecting the heartthrob of Hollywood because he is widely known as one of the most undatable men in the entertainment world.

An insider told the outlet, “Ana’s had an outpouring of support from people since the split, but what’s really come as a shock to her is that both Nicole and Katie are in her corner.”

“It’s no secret they’ve both been through the wringer with Tom, so, of course, they know exactly what she’s gone through. But she still never expected to be getting their support. She’s told friends she feels honored to even be on their radar,” said the source.

The Mission Impossible star’s first marriage to Mimi Rogers lasted for hardly three years, from 1987 to 1990. His second marriage to Kidman in 1990 ended in 2001, while his third to Holmes stayed for six years from 2006 to 2012.

Despite three failed marriages, Cruise tried to hook up with Shakira and Russian socialite Elsina Khayrova but failed to get along with any of them.

Notably, the Top Gun actor and Armas started dating each other in February this year but after spending a few months together, she ended her relationship with him in October.

The source claimed, “Nicole sent word through Reese Witherspoon, who’s friendly with Ana, to let her know she’s there if she ever wants to talk. Katie is apparently on her side, as well. It’s actually not a huge surprise that Katie and Nicole both feel protective of Ana.

“No doubt they see a lot of their younger selves in her and want to help her through this tough situation. Whether Ana will actually follow up and connect remains to be seen, but she’s very touched,” concluded the insider.
