Kate Middleton sends delightful message after Carol service: ‘so lovely’

Prince William and Kate Middleton issued a ‘lovely’ message via Kensington Palace to appreciate the response to the memorable Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey on Friday.

The Prince and Princess of Wales’ official social media on shared a heartwarming footage of service held at the St Albans Cathedral on Monday night.

“So lovely to see community carol services across the country helping to spread the messages of love and empathy that are central to the Christmas story and the Together at Christmas service from Westminster Abbey last Friday,” the message read alongside the shared video of highlights.

Princess Kate, who set the theme surrounding empathy and gratitude received a wonderful response as it inspired to carry the theme on for more such services as the holidays inch closer.

“The theme is empathy and showing gratitude for those who have supported others in their times of need one of Her Royal Highness the Princess of Wales Together at Christmas services, which is very special,” said Lord-Lieutenant of Herfordshire Robert Voss, who attended the St Albans sevice.

“I know she’s giving a message out to each and every person attending which will be very well received,” he continued. “And I think at the moment, as we come up to Christmas, people really feel that they need to think about others have empathy towards others which is exactly what HRH wants us to do.”

Revd Valerie Lolomari, Founder of Women of Grace UK shared that “it’s very powerful, very encouraging, it’s important that our voices are heard”. She added, “It’s important to know that we have empathy in the community.”

The delightful video comes after Prince William returned to UK after filling in for his cancer-stricken father King Charles for the reopening of the Notre-Dame catheral in Paris.
